nah it was wack because those same people who did that would just pick the Colts or the Patriots. only 3 qbs had a decent cone really and it was Manning, Brady, and Favre.

It was wack because you didn't have the skill for it. Look at Vick in real life, his field vision is shyt.

Field vision also forced you to really examine and remember WRs running routes like the real game of football.

You could fake out your opponents looking at one WR but throw it to another. Also you had to memorize where a WR would be if you decided to scramble and throw it.

nah i was fine with the cone. i didnt prefer it. i wasnt bad at it though.

i just hated when i'd pick a team with a normal QB(BIg Ben didnt have much of a cone back then) and they always would settle on Packers/Pats/Colts and wouldnt have to put any real work in

I get what your saying but the majority of people picking the best rated teams is nothing new.

Vision cone was awesome, it just caused Madden to lose the casual crowd because they could no longer cheese. Most players that play Madden are whack and just use exploits to win so naturally they hated the vision cone. Being one of the few players who was legit good at the game, I didn't have any problem with it whatsoever.

Rushing attack was awesome. I want em to bring back the feature where you can point your blocker towards who to block as you're running. They brought back the ability to move receivers around while you're on the run finally so I'll give em credit for that...Online mode the last few years has been great with the large amount of players that have no idea how to run the ball. They get a few lucky passes, think they're about to dominate and then slowly turn into a ball of anger as you shut down their passing game and hit em with 150-300 yards rushing while scoring tds on streak routes cause they decided to start calling all out blitzes.

It was so much more fun to run the ball back then.If ya'll could see my rushing attack highlight reel back then with Ricky.I was breaking the game.I use to just have to put the controller down with some of the stuff i'd pull off.Stiff arm and that move where you barely press the trigger and he does that fast cut to the right or the left.

And that's when the spin move actually worked.That ishyee is basically useless today.

That was probably my favorite Madden ever.
