They associate marijuana with extremely negative traits like laziness, forgetfulness, isolation, etc. My father is from the hood and grew up around a lot of drugs so he has an extremely negative view of just about every substance.

i dont know how it is in other states, but it's a waste making butter or oil with bud, imo. for the price of that zip, you can buy a pound of trim. then you can turn that trim into an oz of shatter/oil, or a whole damn tub of weed butter.

Trim doesn't work for me because my guy sells the whole plant, not the little leaves. i tried to blast the whole plant and got less than a gram of hash oil for over a pound of plant. straight lost money.
so i started getting the bells of premature outdoor for cheap. Blasting those (good return), then making rick simpson oil with the already blasted buds and cooking with the oil. Been seeing nice results so far. You should try rick simpson oil if you haven't already shyt will have you

oh yeah , TIP : if you making brownies and using coconut oil/etc , use a teaspoon of Lecithin . It helps with the bioavailability . Decarb+lecithin= 
its possible, i never ingested RSO. i bought some by accident and tried it for dabbing, and it was a no go.
