I don’t think Madlib is desperate for anything. I mean I hate Logic. I really do. But Madlib moves on his own time, and he doesn’t need to move due to outside pressure anymore. He’s mythical status, and he could do an album with me right now and getting critical praise for it.

Madlib’s a strange dude. This isn’t the first really strange collab project he’s done either.
