How was it a save? I thought it had to be after five innings of play to qualify as a save. He came in after four innings.

Edit: Nevermind, I guess that only applies to starters. I thought a pitcher couldn't get credited with a win unless it came after five innings of play.

I don't know how you did it. My parents were from Oakland and I was a fan of the A's before any other sports team. Growing up in Sacramento around a lot of white kids who were all Giants fans but the A's had more fans everywhere outside of the burbs . Feels more now like Oakland reflects the blue collar spirit of the Bay while SF embraces the white collar image.


But both teams fans travel real well

I always liked the A's better and still do but they were both the local teams for me. I see more people talking about an A's/Giants rivalry now but it's nothing like Cubs/ White Sox or even Dodgers/Angels.
