As a Coli farmer, it’s frustrating but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I mean, it’s better than the alternative. I’d rather face financial ruin than have a transsexual volleyball player at San Jose State. That shyt would keep me awake at night.

The good life 😎
Bailout won't do anything if the tariffs stay. Its just a band aid on a bullet wound
This. I think they'll get one but it won't be enough. It may even be less than previous years intentionally. Seeing how a few of his billionaire buddies want to buy up farms, American farms specifically, so they can get in on that business, seems to indicate that even a bailout will come with all kinds of strings attached.

Desperate farmers mean cheaper prices for these buyers and even more, in time for when these farmers retire.

Some videos.

Remember “I don’t care about you, I just want your vote.”?

This is what he meant.

│ But there were soybean tariffs during the first Orange term. Did they forget so soon?

│ In 2018, as a response to U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods, China imposed a 25% retaliatory tariff on U.S. soybeans, severely impacting U.S. exports and farmers. This tariff, in addition to existing tariffs and taxes, made U.S. soybeans uncompetitive in China, leading to significant financial losses for American farmers. The conflict led to a decline in U.S. soybean sales and a pivot to other export markets, though China remained the largest buyer of soybeans overall.

│ │ I used to play online games with a former buddy in North Dakota who is a Soybean farmer. Not only did he forget, he thought all bad trade deals back then signed by Trump were actually signed by Obama. I told him to look at a calendar of when shyt was signed vs who was the president and the dumb fukk just said that Trump would never do anything bad for American farmers

│ │ │ perfectly explains this sort of ostrich mentality. She ran for office as NC's Commissioner of Agriculture.
│ │ │
│ │ │ In short, farmers are outwardly claiming they were "lied to" and "betrayed" but privately they voted for him knowing with full certainty he would plunge them into another trade war. She talks about how the trade association reps all knew this. But because he bailed them out last time they were expecting another bailout this go around. Which has failed to materialize. Which is why they're now so pissed and claiming betrayal.
