I'm a Colin Kaepernick stan but I can't really blame Jay-Z if he wasn't feeling what Kaepernick did.

A lot of you guys would be upset if you put your neck out for a friend to get him/her a job interview and he/she doesn't show up. Its essentially the same thing in principle.

He already settled out of court re: collusion.

No tryout guarantees future employment. If he really wanted to play football, he would be playing football, simple as that.

Utilizing the arbitration mechanism in the collective bargaining agreement is not a ‘lawsuit’ nor a court case. Baseball players did the same thing in the 80s and, like Kaepernick, received damages based on their projected salary. The XFL & CFL can’t afford the worth of a famous NFL starting QB in his prime. AAF couldn’t make payroll and folded. What the fukk would Colin Kaepernick playing for 50k in Vince McMahon league prove beside lol funny jokes?

The narrative this morning could be “Kaepernick impresses at workout, looks to be in great shape” etc. He could have easily negotiated his own cameras to film the entire workout.

He’s the one moving the finish line at this point.

If he wanted to play the in the NFL, he would’ve signed the waiver (or a compromised version), and completed his workout.

This dude showed up wearing a Kunte Kinte shirt, a staff of bodyguards wearing all black, and a big Afro (when he’s recently been wearing braids). This dude doesn’t want to be a backup holding a clipboard (which he knows is what he would be) so he sabotaged the process.

Y’all forget this dude is a Nike athlete.

Nike isn’t investing millions into a what’s essentially a 32 year old backup quarterback. He’s worth way more as a “freedom fighter.”

This dude refused to take questions from media people HE invited and y’all think it’s completely genuine?

I "get it" but the shyt was still kinda a sham just for Camel to fix his PR hit from fukkin with the NFL and for the NFL to say they "gave him a chance" too.

Damn this whole thing really was a failed Jay Z/Roc Nation production. Michael Eric Dyson stated several times that’s this whole work out was organized directly by Jay-Z.

Damn. I’m not blaming him directly. But this nikka needs to fire someone this week. This level of incompetence on a national scene is a bad look.

I thought the same thing initially, I think had he shown up as planned he would have gotten signed. If 24 teams show up there has to be some real interest especially with the prevalence of QB injuries. According to ESPN despite the shenenigans I think about half the teams (who ever showed up at the high schoool) thought he was decent to good.
