Idc about jay z involvement, I am just exclusively talking about ppl shytting on Kaep because they want to stan Hov. Saying Kaep only cares about money is disrespectful to what he has gone through with white America these past 4 years.

that jay z football workout was for show, idk if it was his idea or not but that shyt was designed to keep Kaep out the loop till last second. Nothing wrong with calling that out.

When Kaep settled with the NFL that was the end of it. Nobody forced Kaep to take their money for his silence. He choose to do that. NFL doesnt owe Kaep anything outside of whatever they agreed to in the settlement.

Kaep the one that was saying he wanted back in the NFL. You say you dont know if Jay was involved in the workout but you are blaming him for it in the same sentence.

Jay doesn't need NFL money nor is the deal really gonna generate much money for him at all anyway. His partnership with the NFL consist of Superbowl halftime show planning and consulting on where they should spend charity funds the owners put together. That consulting deal is prob worth a couple milly at best and peanuts to a guy worth a billion and married to woman worth half a billion herself. The narrative that Jay needed the NFL for money is just as silly.

Point me to where I said Jay Z does things for money and discredit his social work? I can point you to several comments where it says Kaep does though. And ppl are only doing that because they like Jay Z more. This Kaep hate and questioning his motives started after this Jay Z situation.

Jay Z told other artists to skip NFL super bowl but started working directly. Being a sports agent and working directly is different. Again, if he wants to do that go ahead.

Jay never told any artist to skip the superbowl. Yall running with fake MTO news when Jay himself spoke on this numerous times. He said Travis Scott should be headlining if he did the show and not be side act for Maroon 5 which is how it was setup.

He also said artist should be getting paid to superbowl shows. He never said anything about boycotting the nfl or not working with the nfl which should be pretty obvious seeing that he has a sports agency and reps NFL players but folks are too stupid to connect the dots.

And those who get mad at him for trying to make money, I don't get. There's a big difference between his deal with Disney vs Jay Z partnering with an organization who blackballed a player because of kneeling.

This statement by you is discrediting Jays motives for working with the NFL and alluding to it jsut being a money play. Given Jays social work history I would be more inclined to believe that he was sincere in trying to help.

Who said Jay needed money from NFL? No one has said Jay Z is broke. You are making up your own narratives :mjlol:

You want Kaep to go against a billion dollar company, might as well ask him to go be homeless. Kaep agreeing to a settlement proves that NFL kept him out because of kneeling.

NFL owes him a fair chance just like any other player, the fact is he is blackballed. No one is saying he deserves a job but there are much worse players who get a workout in.

Goddell himself admitted NFL was wrong with how they have handled these things in the past. If he can admit it why can’t you?

Nope, this was by variety and tmz reported on it as well.

Two sources also tell Variety that Jay-Z — who has been highly critical of the NFL over its treatment of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick — is attempting to talk Scott out of performing, although reps either declined comment or could not immediately be reached.

It does not, I was simply pointing out people in this thread having more hate for a guy who was blackballed and faced racism/death threats by half of America than a guy who partnered with that company. This not question his motives, but whole thread including you question Kaeps instead. NFL had to settle and Goddell is apologizing for doing a poor job on twitter yet you are still against Kaepernick. Everyone is kneeling after he was crucified for doing it back in 16 yet you call out his intentions. It’s embarrassing. You could have supported Jay Z joining NFL and still respected Kaepernick instead it sounds like Maga discrediting everything Kaep does. They love questioning what he has done too.

That doesnt disprove what I said. Jay said Travis Scott should be headlining if he did the show and not be side act for Maroon 5 which is how it was setup. Jay's reasoning for telling Scott not to perform had nothing to do with the Kaep situation. And telling someone not to do a halftime show does not equal boycotting the NFL.

I rightfully question the motives of a self proclaimed civil rights activist that took a secret settlement where they cant speak on it and is also sponsored by Nike and and now Disney. Anyone using the black struggle to sell tshirts and shoes for Nike should be questioned. Kaeps line has been very profitable for Nike and his air forces with his afro on them last year sold out. Was Kaep selling Afro forces and Afro nike tees before he was kicked out the league? That's the only way I wouldnt question his motives.

You said it was reported by MTO, so you already started out with a lie. Jay-Z's explanation also came after he signed with NFL and during a press conference sitting next to Goddell.:unimpressed:

Your issue with Kaepernick is that he has a job. You want him to have zero jobs because that is the only way he is real in your perspective. Him having a deal with Nike and Disney is fully irrelevant to what he does and what he stood for. Those shoes sales % went to organizations/charity but you want to ignore that because it doesn't fit your narrative of Kaepernick just being in it for the money. Kapernick must be one of the best actors of all time to pull off this con and keep it running for this long, give him an OSCAR:blessed:. He lost out on NFL money and decided to become one of the most hated man in America so he can get NIKE shoes and do documentaries for Disney:wow::wow::wow:

And if you really want to start questioning self-proclaimed civil rights activist, you can start by where the Jay-Z/NFL deal money was going. Cops and Cupcakes and Cutting Your Hair For Better Life. :dead:. You can't have so many questions about Kaepernick's integrity and then turn around and support this deal. :skip:

Why dont you post the interview of the kid in the photo getting his haircut. He explained it pretty well. It was his choice. And he credits that lady with getting him off the streets and helping him turn his life around. Charity was doing real work in the streets but that doesnt fit your Jayz hate narrative does it?

Member of charity tied to Roc Nation and NFL speaks out on controversy over dreadlocks photo

Following the backlash to the photos, Hazelgrove released a statement to USA Today: “Out of 500 youth going through our doors I cut two young men’s hair because they asked me to and we are a family structure and so I did it and didn’t really think about it after that. I tweeted about it without much thought. It’s hair. But I regret it now and I promise you I will not be doing that again if asked.”

One of the young men in the photos has come to her defense.

Last week, Kobe Richardson, who got involved with Crushers Club in 2015 after years of being involved with gangs, released a video to clarify that it was his decision to cut off his hair in October 2016, not Hazelgrove’s. He said he couldn’t find anyone else to cut his hair and felt most comfortable with her doing it. And while he partly cut off his locs because he was “fed up with my past,” he also did it because it was becoming a difficult hairstyle to maintain: Outside of daily maintenance, people would pull his locs whenever he got into fights, and he said he was frequently stopped and racially profiled by police for having locs.

“But now, I feel blessed. I feel like I’m not trapped no more,” said Richardson, who added that he is speaking out of his own volition, not because Roc Nation, the NFL or Crushers Club asked him to. “I can walk freely now.”

As a youth, Richardson said he sought attention that he wasn’t receiving from home, which led him to seek acceptance from those who may not have had his best interests at heart. Aside from his mom and some family members, he said, Hazelgrove was the only other person who cared about him as a person, the only person who gave a damn.

Richardson would get into fights and run with the wrong crowd, which eventually led to his being placed on probation for strong-arm robbery. (He says the charges were later reduced.) That’s how he discovered Crushers Club, which gave him a new lease on life. He was captivated by the organization’s boxing program. He took advantage of its music program and hip-hop studio. He learned how to fish.

The charity work stands on its own. The kids from the program vouch for it. I dont care about her tweets more than I care about actions. Just like Kaep doesnt care that Nike runs sweat shops or that he wants to work for the same NFL owners and teams he has called racist that blackballed him.

Okay so why question Kaep then? You clearly have no issue with others doing the same but you said this about Kaep.

"I rightfully question the motives of a self proclaimed civil rights activist that took a secret settlement where they cant speak on it and is also sponsored by Nike and and now Disney. Crusher Club using black struggle and donation money to pushing maga agenda?

You don't know what you want, on one hand you have issue with Kaep doing something yet are finding every excuse in the world for others doing much worse:skip:. Gotta choose a stance.

Crusher club is a small non profit so that doesn't even make sense. They actually in the streets doing work though with kids got former gang members vouching for them turning their life around.. how is that a maga agenda? They aint doing too good of job if thats the case case.

You posted one kids testimony and said they are helping everyone, I posted more than one evidence on what they stand for. Why are you discrediting Kapernick's non profit work? That is my question.

You posted 3 liked tweets over 5 years or so while ignoring all the other social media showing smiling black kids faces they work with on their twitter and Instagram. Kap has done some decent charity work but nothing groundbreaking to be honest and Jay has done a lot more. Kaep has also done some stupid stuff like telling folks not to vote last election and bragging about how he doesn't vote. Plenty of other NFL players have done much more than Kap and dont get half as much credit. Warrick Dunn donated 150 houses to single mothers and I believe its still ongoing.
