People like Sanders and AOC should be the Center of the democratic party, not on the fringe left.

What passes for a in leftist U.S. politics would be right of center in just about any other nation.

Facts.

Americans that are NOT recent immigrants have no concept of what a true "left" actually looks like. They think Obama and Clinton were socialists . We have a center, center-right, right and fascist/far right. Billionaires have succeeded in convincing a good chunk of the electorate that giving up their rights and livelihood is good.

You hit the nail on the head with that. A really big problem that does not get talked about enough by Democratic supporters is that old and new media is owned by billionaire Republicans, MAGA or dark MAGA supporters.

They'd rather a white person that's bad to everyone than a black person that might do something positive for black people. They don't take into account that any black person elected president is going to be on Obama-time and condescend to them and be super aware that they can't be perceived to be favoring them.

This is fair, but it's probably more on some get down or lay down shyt. There's a larger percentage of people who I now know are flat out stupid, but I don't believe the country is this antisocial. It's antithetical to what the country is.
