i don't.
Are you claiming that both sides aren't the same sh!t , why does the patriot act get renewed under both sides , both sides run up the Pentagons budget to kill , destabilize other countries , bomb other countries & make enemies

This is fair, but it's probably more on some get down or lay down shyt. There's a larger percentage of people who I now know are flat out stupid, but I don't believe the country is this antisocial. It's antithetical to what the country is.

But then again, there's more stupid than I previously realized.

IMO it's less about stupidity and more that a larger percentage of people than you'd like to believe are just bigots. :yeshrug:

A lot of MAGA voters aren't necessarily that "stupid" but are willing to screw themselves over as long as they believe they're hurting the people they hate more. It's irrational, but they know what they're voting for.

I won't argue. I know I know more undercover MAGA people than I'm comfortable admitting. Bigotry is stupid though, because it hurts you in the end.

Considering the biggest age demographic in this country right now is 33-35 (echo Boomers), it would make perfect sense. These are the kids that voted for Obama in 2008 at 18 and will be the new boomer generation this century.

Nah. America isnt there yet. 24hr corporate news, negative incentives from social media, unions on life support, weak legislation on corporations, remnants of red scare propaganda and ol fashioned racism summoned Donald trump.

In the 1930s, severe poverty, in person communication and organizing, organized labor, and the threat of mass violence(at this time there had been battles in the street with workers being shot dead by law enforcement and privately hired security) summoned FDR who essentially promised to reign in capitalism while at the same time listening to the working man and ignoring the orthodox advice to produce the golden age of the working class.

America isnt at the level of suffering it needs to be at before you get a progressive turn. What's going to have to happen is:

-More foreign investment leaves the country and the rich and middle/upper middle class people increase their positions in Asian, Latin American and European stocks and bonds, ESPECIALLY Asia.

-Israel support basically puts politicians on the same level as those who supported war in Iraq. Essentially tanking their chances of staying in congress.

- White unemployment nears double digits even though people are seeing with their own eyes, immigrants being deported.

-people unplug from social media and podcasts because they cant afford internet anymore(the price went up or they lost their jobs)

-Union membership rises.

-The age group that fondly remembers America before the civil rights movement die or become too frail to show up to the polls.

-corporate news continues to lose viewers and starts desperately trying to reflect reality as it is, instead of how the heads of CNN etc. Want it to be.

Right now the only peoples interests that are being represented by mainstream media and the government is the interests of white men with money. Not the poor, not, the working class, and sure as fuc not black people. You'll need leaderS who pop up in each city and each state who represent the interests of people, not capital.

Those leaders will be media trained, they will have experienced struggle, or will have genuine respect and enough sanity to realize americas true strength is its workers and not their bosses. They'll be attacked by both Republicans and democrats who don't want the status quo to change. They'll thug it out and just keep standing on business. They'll link up with other representatives from other states and get on the same page when it comes to advancing the agenda of the brutally beaten working and middle class in this country. Its going to take a MOVEMENT with strong, credible leaders to undo this shyt.

That movement will take at least another 2 or 3 presidential cycles to build unless war comes to American soil.

The idea that Union members vote Dem is pretty old school. The GOP has the "socially conservative, fiscally moderate" vote on lock
