I believe it. They believe in this shyt the same way Islamic incels believe that if they kill themselves in battle they'll get all the women they want.
These people see Trump as more than a man. They see him as a godlike representation of their hopes and dreams and they're willing to kill and die for him. He really could run over a child and admit he did it because he was bored and curious and these people would come up with all sorts of justifications for why that is okay.
