Saw the movie on bootleg.
It is not a good movie.
I won't blame Majors, but the script was terrible and the direction even worse.
I don't know what Major's was shooting for but his acting is terrible and cartoonish.

I don't know whether to blame him or if the script was truly this cartoonish, I am sam level bad.
The story is terrible there is no point to it.No understanding of the culture its using for its story. Gym culture typically has groupings of friends. So even a weirdo like Killian would have gym bros and a mini community he is training and enteracting with.
Its the sort of post modern film that drives customers away, it literally tries to copy taxi driver and joker BS.

I wouldn't waste your time on this one. Wasted talent because of terrible writing,, direction, and mediocre vshooting/scene composition/lighting.

Dope movie. Jonathan Majors gives such a great performance. The first hour of this movie was incredible but the last hour is wayyy to long and just drags with pointless scenes. they should have cut it down to like 90-100 minutes. There was also a certain scene that was not needed at all

I agree the last hour went a little too long. That scene in question wasn’t necessary but at the same time I think it shows how he easily influenced he was by basically everything and everyone he came across.

All in all very good movie with an A+ performance. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. He had to go to a dark place to make Killian come to life.

Majors ascended to another level with his ability to make ever single scene tense with discomfort. Shyt was hard to watch at times with him going through obsession, isolation, suffering, etc. I honestly wasn't expecting this direction.

The talk coming out of Sundance was real, Majors puts on an excellent performance. It's sad what transpired as I believe this would have got him an Oscar nomination.
