Eventually, yes, not immediately like they did. Sort of like Isiah and Michael, but they would of needed front offices like those teams as well.

lots of things that go into a winning franchise

magic was a 6'9'' point guard so.. im gonna say yea

bird could shoot so yea.. idk if they would have multiple championships but a ring isn't a big reach.
Yes i think they both would have won true it takes a good front office but as you seen a mistake can set you back a couple of years but they would have won but not off the bat.

:russ: but for real, Bird and Magic were fukking INSULATED by those teams and clearly being "placed" there paid off in then end. They were the bridge to bringing the NBA mainstream after the NBA/ABA "merger" so it makes sense they landed where they did. You take the league's historically marquee teams and built them up with fresh legs
