Why is it only about marquee free agents with this guy.
You have an excellent young developing core with Ball, Kuzma, Ingram, Randle, Hart. Why not be patient and develop players. It’s more affordable that way too, but nah fukk that lets trade guys and pay max money for Paul George.
Newsflash Paul George really ain’t that nice. No “superstar” is really worth three young rotational pieces and future picks. Teams NEVER win those trades.

my post wasn't throwing shots at all. This is what Magic wanted.....this is ALL he's been talking about for years breh. He's only the President of the Lakers because of his insistence that he can nab the Lakers max FA's. That's it. Thats what he said publicly and thats he reportedly told Jeanie when they talked about her hiring him for the job. Pelinka is the GM so he's the one handling the day to day moves the team. Magic's role is the nab us the big fish, and if he can't get us one whats the point of him being Pres? He's basically admitting it with his statement .....he's here to attract stars; if he can't do it, then move on.

It’s about that for every team... you think if GMs were told they have a chance to sign all nba caliber talent they would reject it? The difference Is unlike Los Angeles places like Milwaukee or Charolette ain’t drawing big name Intrest to begin with so you’ll never hear their front offices speak about it

Couldn't have said it better. Build it back up and they will come. Plus they passed on Tatum and got Ball and let his pops hijack the entire scene and vibe. They hung on to Kobe a couple of years too late. Dissed DLo after they traded him. They really have moved right as a franchise in some time now. I hate to see a guy like Magic box himself in like that. Lakers used to command respect and never begged niccas to join them.
