Magic will be the face of the ownership group...politic around the community...smile (and eat popcorn) in front of the cameras...and sell his stake in a few yrs

Rinse & repeat

No, he won't. This is the NFL not the NBA and Jay being "the face" of the Nets was political in that he had a stake in Barclays and the team was relocating from Jersey.

Brian Davis Excellence. This does nothing for African Americans.
He is african american and if he buys the team thats symbolic considering the league is made up up over 90% african americans. And there hasnt been an african american owner in nfl history. And this does something for african americans, because if you actually read the article, brian david has several initiatives in place to give back to the local black community in dc if he acquires the team (which he’s already been doing for years). So you’re pretty much just talking out of your ass.

Where are you/your people from? You either a cac or some foreigner that would be upset about this.

He is the guy buying the team, not the African American community. :mjlol:

And you know what would really black community? Higher wages. Healthcare. Homes. Jobs. Are any of those "initiatives" contributing to that, or do they make feeble-minded brehs think, "he doing something."

This thinking that every rich black person winning means we've all won helps keep us on this treadmill.
