Nahh...I don't get that vibe at all.
Magic's lived a charmed life since leaving Michigan State...aside from the monster dude hasn't really faced any personal or professional setbacks.
He's in a city that he's the de facto mayor of...and everyone important loves the dude and makes sure to kiss the ring and get him involved whenever they're looking to make moves.
I bet the whole Rob situation was just a huge shock to him...nobody's ever come for his head like that off the basketball court.
