Blazers were the biggest chokers of that era. Good lord.
Even in Game 6 vs. the Lakers, the play prior to Magic throwing the ball down court, the Blazers had a two on one fastbreak and for no reason young Cliff Robinson fumbled the ball out of bounds. :krs:

They were the biggest pretenders of that era.

Clyde saying they would no longer need the team plane after beating the Pistons in game two in 90, only for his prediction to come true in the opposite way and losing all three at home :russ:

Magic bumping the ref and getting T'd up and tossed is only remembered by those who saw the game. If youtube didn't exist, nobody else would ever believe it happened.
Van Exel knocked a ref over a table, Magic came out and said something about it and than not long after his big ass went and bumped a ref

And Vlade said when Magic was a coach he threw Vlade’s pager against the wall and shattered it.:russ:

He got down for real... but no one knows for sure how his career would've wen after 91... that may have been his last hurrah... that knee was borderline shot.... which makes his run in 91 really special.... .Divac was a 1st year Euro that was too passive.... and Magic stayed in his grill for it..... but nonetheless...... it was the Bulls year.... Jordan was freakish and Dunleavy's lack of big game coaching showed up at an opportune time for the Bulls.....

bro don't even get me started on Dumbleavy and his problematic rotations, failure to make proper in-game adjustments and suspect X's and O's. like i know he's had him a pretty damn good career as an NBA head coach, hell he almost beat us in 2000. still though i say Buck was the real coach of that '90-'91 team fukk that

anyway dope thread though, i literally sat here watching all the videos & reminiscing. repped :salute:

Blazers :snoop:

Anyway throwing that ball down the court is indeed genius. You have to get it right though :russ::dead:

:russ:

What's wild about what Magic did, the clock stopped for a few seconds. There should have been no time left on the clock. I think those managing the clock didn't know what Magic was doing.

On another note....dikk Enberg was the most versatile announcer of all time, covering the NBA and NFL. dude IMMEDIATELY announced Magic's brilliance on that play. :to:

You're right. That's back when Magic used to BARK on Vlade. :russ: Straight BARK on him multiple times a game. I used to feel sorry for Vlade but Magic was straight up shaping him to help carry the load during that run.

Dude was such a leader man....

Divac was shook. There's a clip of Magic screaming on him during a game and Divac flinching as if he's expecting to get slapped.

I don't recall him screaming on other players like that, but by that time the old guard was gone and he was trying to get the younger guys ready to compete for rings................Divac probably took longer to adjust to NBA or American basketball

28:57 Magic giving Vlade the :usure: look to keep him in line

This is the most classic representation of the late 80s/early 90's Trailblazers. Down by one....

:scust:

NO ONE choked like them.
