Biggest chokers ever. Game 6 vs the Bulls, up 13 in the 4th and they got outscored by the Bulls bench players to lose the game. :mjlol:

the biggest outright chokers Ive ever seen play...

Yep Phil had all the bulls starters that be benched..:lolbron:. The whole team threw the towl in and were gonna get ready for game 7. But the bench brought the bulls back.

The much maligned stacy king helped bring them back along with BJ Armstrong...:lolbron:

Brought the bulls back from double digits. And then phil put the starters in to seal the victory.

I still say their lost to the lakers in 1991 was their biggest choke.

They had the best record in the league and home court.

Even folks in chicago and the chicago media were rooting for the lakers to win that series. We chicago folks felt that we had no shot againts the trailblazers. They were deeper and had enough wings to make Pip and MJ play defense. Plus they were more experienced.

Folks fail to realize that trailblazers team was better in 90 and 91 than they were in 92. So 91 they actually hit their peak.

Yeah, early on it looked like Portland was the team in the West and Boston in the East.

Chicago started off slow, they actually lost their first 3 games.

Yep they did that first 3 loses people in the media were beating the drum to fire phil or even trade scottie.

Says a lot about Magic. Even in the Finals, two of the first three games went down to the final shot in regulation, with the Lakers ahead in the closing seconds of both...

Also says a lot about Clyde. His past of being a mental midget bag fumbler (90-92) is swept under the rug, thanks to Hakeem.

Between the choke jobs and male pattern baldness, he lucky the coli wasn't around back then

its crazy how all potential goats have some shyt that literally took years away from there career...
Not exactly breh. Kareem, Duncan, LeBron, Kobe. All LONG ass careers with relatively few hiccups injury wise. It's really just Michael, Larry, and Magic (Michael moreso gave years away rather than had them taken away).

Yo @Rhakim, am I reading this correctly, a thread celebrating gettin to the Finals but not winning? Wow, for the longest I thought that was considered failing and nothing to be commended for.

If San Antonio wasn't so young and inexperienced in 90 they would've beat Portland as well

Damn you Rod Strickland:francis:

A bunch of people were celebrating the Lakers' run in 2008 the other day too, it's just silliness at this point.

Blazers were the biggest chokers of that era. Good lord.
Even in Game 6 vs. the Lakers, the play prior to Magic throwing the ball down court, the Blazers had a two on one fastbreak and for no reason young Cliff Robinson fumbled the ball out of bounds. :krs:

They were the biggest pretenders of that era.
Blazers have had some of the most talented players in NBA history, and really have nothing to show for it :mjlol:

Its part of the reason I never liked Elite players becoming coaches. Most times they just can get past the fact all players arent built like them talent wise or mentality wise.

this is facts though. role players, mid level point guards, and locker room guys are always a better choice

low key though larry legend actually wasn't that bad during his tenure. but again, i don't think he had the patience so he fit the trope
