I think what he meant to say was only The Spurs and Miami, can beat each other in the finals

so if the Spurs make it to the finals, there's no team on the East that can beat them
if the Heat make it to the finals there no time on the west that can beat them

so the only way the Spurs will not when the Championship is if the play the Heat and vice versa
