i wonder if it'll be influenced by that Jay electronica Album we have yet to hear...

Murder to Excellence is a dope song as well.
Same goes for Made in America but then again that song is dope mainly for Frank Ocean's hook![]()

Your threads are always either 1 or 2 stars![]()
Defacing my thread for no good reason, fohFloyd Mayweather will either win his next fight or he'll lose his next fight![]()

I am a Big Jay fan, but does not do average albums? What the hell was Vol. 1 to 3 then?
In my opinion, Vol. 1 to 3 were great (3 and a half to 4 stars range). I've seen people on the board say the same as well.
RD: Good
Vol 1: Meh
Vol 2: Good
Vol 3: Meh
BP: Good
BP 2: meh
Black album: Good
KC: Meh
AG: Good
BP 3: Meh
MCHG: ????
Thats an almost 20 year pattern.

Jay doesn't do average albums... they're either wack, classic, or great
He sounds inspired and focused on this one, but I'm not sure about the production. He's made classics with Timbo, Swizz, and Pharrell, but they have a history of making wack shyt together as well.
There's 3 major things that go into a successful Jay album: The right delivery, un-lazy songwriting, and top-notch production. Jay had good moments lyrically on BP3 but his delivery wasand the production was
for the better part of the album.
Just hope this time his delivery is more on track with "Open Letter" and less with "Suit & Tie"
But if you're following the pattern of Jay's albums (wack-great-wack-great, etc) this album lands on wack(BP3 - wack, WTT - great) It remains to be seen until July 4th. Hov needs to reassert himself into the #1 GOAT MC talk.
that shyt was weak
