Remember the real world black leaders these two's ideology was based on.

:sas2:

Remember what we were TAUGHT.

If you read about the real versions of these 2 men, you'd see they were a lot closer in ideology than we were duped into believing they weren't.

To me their relationship (and wolverine's backstory) has always been the most compelling part of Xmen

Hold on now cause Cyclops bossin up, the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix saga, Avengers vs X-Men and any time Apocalypse shows up for the fukkery is also very compelling and all those events have lead to BARS being dropped

Love the Avengers but damn if X Men doesnt hold a special place for me

Breh Wolverine story is mid. It’s the same story any mofo that’s a couple hundred years old would have. They just made it personable with telling his experiences while completely glossing over others by just saying “they’re immortal/old af”

Be very wary of the oppressed who think the way to defeat the oppressor is to emulate them to the point where they become them.
Yes. Magneto doesn't realize that his ideology is self-defeating, even as he's being defeated while actualizing it.

:whoo:
When? How?
Which part?

Xavier being seen for he really is has been shown since New X-Men, consistently. When Scott permanently took the role of headmaster he kicked Xavier out, first thing

:blessed:

Then Cyclops was bossing up, sending out assassination squads out to kill humans and any other threats to mutants.

:blessed:

Mutants were reduced to less than 200 because of Scarlet Witch so Cyclops moved them to an island and was giving out work. A mutant baby was born and it was a race from everyone to get it.

What an era.

:wow:

Topped it off by killing Xavier

I know some purist hated this era of the X-Men. But I found it to be absolutely compelling. Actually, the most compelling since Morrison's New X-Men revamp.

After New X-Men ended there were was so many inconsistent stories, bland plots and a general lack of reason to tell those stories. Mike Carey's X-Men with Fraction/Gillen on Uncanny, Yost and then Remember on X-Force

Even New Mutants was really good.

Avengers getting that push after disassembled really set the X-Men books back. Only thing worse was that inhuman vs Xmen stuff from mid 2010s

Getting Gillen to write the books has always been about making Sinister the focus. Sinister has the event focus for next year.

:blessed:

What series? Is it in a graphic novel? Sinister is one of my favorite villains because he doing it for the science. F*ck your goals just let me get that specimen to work on :demonic:

Haven't really kept up with comics the last couple of years, but isn't this a timeline changed by Moira? Xavier has been more willing to show off his dikkishness? :dame:
