I think the moment was bigger then they anticipated. Jey admitted that he was blown up during his entrance.

I'll write it off as a bad match.

I'd run it back on the condition that they perform their match multiple times on the house show loop.

Revisiting this. Do or die moment for Jey. Hard to have a bad match with Gunther

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I really hate it for Jey. It's another case of a wrestler getting popular quickly and causing the bubble to pop early. Plus, the Cody/Cena feud and the Roman/Punk/Seth drama is just a lot more interesting.

Based on the talk on here and on socials, Jey Uso is the modern version of ECW-era Tommy Dreamer. Fan favorite that people wanted to see get the title win but didn’t want to see have a title reign.

These types of people are the ones that make it easy to justify having a prestigious tournament where they can get something tangible for winning it, think like a trophy or a medal, without them having to hold a title belt hostage.

So my suggestion - have the Royal Rumble winner get a trophy they can parade around with for a year, but it’s a trophy that gets handed off to the next year’s winner like the Stanley Cup trophy. But the winner also gets a title ring that they get to keep.

Just give him king of the ring to shut his daddy up and keep him away from the serious main events.

Can't wrestle, can't promo.. he's just an entrance and he's cosplaying as a black man but getting an opportunity because he's not really black and because his daddy who used to twerk in men's faces likes to cry online.

I like Jey, and he definitely had the juice during the 2022 Tribal Chief run.

I just haven't seen the goods from him as a solo match guy, yet.
His match with Jimmy last year at Mania was really bad.

And you would think you and your own twin brother had to have dreamed of having a match together for years. Talked about it, probably practice....and it was just not good.

I want to see him have a great showing, but I don't have that confidence right now
