Tough talk from Maino is falls flat over here. He's been a public figure for 20 years and always beats his chest on some Tough Tony shyt but we never seen this cornball do anything to a nikka that would do something back to him. Not a single time.
Now, people say that people from his section vouch for him, I believe that. I think Maino is easy to read, though. I think he's a nikka who would get busy if the occasion called for it but I don't think he a nikka who instigated anything with a real smacker; I think he's someone who wouldn't turn p*ssy if a smacker pressed him. There is a distinction between those two descriptives.
And I don't need old New York stories to tell me what his public persona has shown me, which is that he definitely is one of them nikkas who picks on nikkas who won't fight back. I guarantee the majority of shyt anybody can ever say he was in, was vs nikkas who not fighting back. It's all in this nikka profile, I'd bank on it.
50 also wasn't some hardcore g but he was outside, also did a little bid upstate, and was known for having hands. The gangster persona that he was some thoroughbred gun buster was rap imagery apparently, but he (like Maino) apparently wasn't no p*ssy, in the sense that he wasn't turning down smoke coming to him.
So they the same nikka in that context. Difference is in 50's ~27 years or so in the public limelight, the physical issues I knew him to be in, were with nikkas who would do something back. People clown the Gunplay shyt but Gunplay is a killer and if that incident happened pre-celebrity for both, somebody woulda died because Gunplay is with that type shyt.
