At the end of the day, Maino stepped into Akademiks' realm and started to do the podcast thing. A realm Ak has mastered. And lets not forget, Maino tried the podcast thing solo and failed now he 's trying it with 3 other cats and has to say Akademiks name in an attempt to get views.

I just checked both of Aks main Youtube pages. AK started doing his Youtube thing over 10 years ago in 2015. Maino (who started his Youtube page in 2008 & only has 146K subs) started his Kitchen Talk podcast in 2020 and his last one was 2023. Which means while AK never stopped, Maino came 5 years after doing the podcast thing on his Youtube page and got shut down 3 years later. So now Maino has to start all over again with help from 3 others while AK is still solo. Mind you AK had a whole show with Joe Budden yet at this very moment AK has twice as many subs on Youtube (close to 3 million) over Joe Budden even though Joe had his page since 2006 and AK had his in 2015. Which means AK is bigger then Joe Budden in the Youtube game.

That is why I said that Maino stepped into AKs realm.


And lets be real here. Which episode of Maino's Kitchen Talk made noise that everyone remembers? LOL. The one that stood out to me was the Lil Cease one for obvious reasons. But his last Kitchen Talk episode with Tracy Morgan 2 years ago only did over 18K. Those aren't great numbers. And that's why he now needs help from 3 others to get some real momentum.
