Not saying that Maino is out here dropping Illmatic n shyt or that he is even a reputable rapper.
But lol at people forgetting that the reason he is so old compared to his peers, is cause he was in JAIL for majority of his adult life.
LOL Exactly. He makes inoffensive music. He's not a great rapper by any means but he's passable and has some good songs here and there

As a nikka whose actually been in the streets I would rather listen to a studio gangsta that can rap then a real gangsta who cant. I think the reason people shyt on him is because he talks like he's sum NY legend whens he's not. I do find his interviews entertaining tho

Maino has accomplished more in the demonic realm then he has in hiphop. I think he should focus on that angle. By first ceasing the creation of all demonic filth that cripples the mind of friends and encourages them to carry on demonically in demonic ways by engaging in demonic filth thats so demonic, friends.

I don't think he acts like a rap legend. When he says KOB and all that stuff, I think he's trying to dance around the topic not to offend anyone. But he's really saying "I'm the KOB because I actually hold power in the streets" not because he's a superior rapper to his competition. I think a lot of his comments are because people like him don't ever make it in rap. The fact he even had two albums drop is a major accomplishment for someone like him. For all intents and purposes, Maino should probably be dead or doing life in prison right now.

I got that, but the hate he gets doesn't equal to his music. His music isn't great but it's not bad enough in relation to the hate he gets.

Yeah I dont think he's the worst rapper in the world cuz he had a few songs that I liked years ago and I think he's better then nikkaz like Troy Ave and Uncle Murda. I think the hate is cuz of the shyt he talks

Game has accomplished 20X more in the music industry. Dude was legit music wise when he was with 50. Maino always been a one hit wonder and nothing more.
Maybe a better comparison would be Trick Trick from Detroit minus the one hit.
