I don't have a problem with Majid Jordan's and PNDs helping with songs because all rappers have help with hooks and singers have help with songs.

They are not helping with songs...they are writing the songs...there is a difference...
Help is something the average rapper gets...he writes a 16 and spits it in the studio and some dudes in the studio say "it would be better if you said this...or flipped this bar like this" and he does it...but that is 1 bar..2 bars...3 bars...out of a 16...
Drake is having entire songs written for him and just cruising around listening to them in his car...i have yet to see any proof that he wrote a word...let alone a bar...or a song...that's not help...that is someone else music...because you know...drake is listening to someone else music in his car before he decides that is the song he wants
He even needs reference tracks for the cadence...
He can't write it...he can't rap it...he can't even figure out how to ride the beat...
He gonna be alright for awhile because so many people are eating off him...but the second he slows down or he can't keep up with trends and he not making those people money his career is going to evaporate...and by slow down and keep up with trends I mean the second their is some other brand new prap star on the rise and all the ghost producers and writers working with drake and 40 start working with someone else...

They're smart enough and lucky enough to be in the position to promote their work though.
Think about it. They are suburban Arab guys with good parents and educations (he mentioned he could fall back on his business degree and get into corporate work if it didn't pan out). But a lot of the music being taken is from guys who come from the street without all that.
That's my big issue. . but at this point it is what it is.
It's going to get worse now that platforms like Apple are connecting with record labels and these kids are uploading their work. Lord. . they aren't going to see a dime.
I do hope that like someone suggested more start studying the industry so they won't get hoodwinked. That and some new artform is created that's completely independent of the industry like hip hop once was.

the theodore crew itself is ghosts writing team; of which I believe ghost still writes, but today you need to drop a lot of material and those guys have wrote verses and ghost is MY GOAT.
