So whose checking for this? I peeped the MLW Fusion show and was rather intrigued . Tony Schiavone on commentary, favorite indy wrestlers such as Shane Strickland and Jimmy Havoc on the roster, and even the production is on point.

I see this promotion possibly taking off due to their deal with Bein Sports and this "boom" period of wrestling .

Yeah but it's getting a TV deal which means more exposure to the product.

They came out not too long after WCW & ECW folded and was owned/run by former WWE writer Court Bauer. Ran for a couple of years as a regional promotional basically, then folded. Then Bauer started up the MLW Radio Network and decided to bring back MLW as a wrestling promotion in the last year or two with a few shows here and there.

MLW wasn't bad during its original short run. I remember watching them on either Fox Sports Net or The Sunshine Network here in Florida. They had some ECW guys, even had Joey Styles on commentary, and had a good mix of up & coming indie darlings.

I haven't seen any of the recent shows, but if they get a weekly TV deal, I'd definitely be interested in checking it out.

I remember in 2003 when mlw was deliberately putting cm punk vs raven on their show

And then when tna would come on ppv for their weekly show cm punk and raven was in the same stable

I checked out 'One Shot' which was funded by Wale. It was decent but they had some kinks to iron out.

They just crowned their first champ too. I'll check for it, because I enjoy the work of some of the people on their roster, rather than becaause I think they'll grow into competition for the 'E.
