The success of Asians Had an influence on this. People see how successful Filipinos, indians and Chinese people are and they think to themselves, "they did it why cant you". Many business leaders are Indian Americans now, so there doesn't seem to be a "ceiling" for them.

The success of Nigerians and Ethopians (in america)puts it over the edge. Like... "They are black...so why can't you?"


The future of Black Americans (This doesn't African immigrants) is very bleek. Most Black American professionals are female, and they are ending up as lonely spinsters. This going to have a negative effect in the next 30 years I'm sure.

As long as Blacks have a belief that the rules and laws of this society are written to benefit them...they will always be at the bottom of society. The only true way for ANY of us to come up in this society is to live outside of it and create our own rules. This wasn't built for us to succeed. Like I explained above there is a difference between blame/fault and responsibility, the person who breaks in is at fault and to blame but at the end of the day the owner of the house is responsible for the house

you seem to be overlapping blame, fault and responsibility which leads to a logical fallacy.

by your logic a black person is at fault for getting racially profiled because they're black. that logic is faulty because it ignores there was there was no decision made on race. the decision is when a choice is made to racially profile or not.

the way i see it we are responsible for our actions, knowing our race can be a factor. however, we are not responsible for conditions of a decision we didn't make (the race of our parents or systemic racism).

What so wrong with reparations? What happened to all those labour hours worked with no compensation whatsoever? Not giving their descendants even a portion of it is basically spitting on their graves and rendering their existence cursed.

This has nothing to do how I feel about reparations,I'm for them if done correctly. I know this poster was talking about holding black peoples ancestors responsible for their part in slavery with no mention or responsibility for white people
