I spent more time at Fenway park then I did any sports place ever and I went to alot of ngames at the pirates stadium when I lived in the burgh. I have had some of my best sports experiences at Red Sox games (1 All star, a bunch of playoff games, and 1 world series game) but my best was easily a finals game in 10', we won the game, but lost the series. I was also at the game that Rondo killed his arm and came back into the game, that was wild.

For me the best memory is

Actually shouldn't the case be made for a basketball sub-forum? It's the majority of the threads and engulfs the other non-basketball threads. Make a b-ball forum so they can stick to their own kind.

I just don't have any respect for the sport anymore. Pedro and Mo Vaughn are two of my heroes in life, but I can't recapture that spark I had for the game growing up. I played through high school as well, and maybe it was just too much baseball for me growing up, now I despise it. The funny thing is that I never played basketball, only football and baseball, but the NBA is by far my favorite sport, and its not even close.

What do you mean you dont have any respect for the sport?

Sure it has its issues but you can poke holes at any sports league

Plus u come from Boston which worships the Sox much moreso then any other team
