I get it from a public health perspective and $30million is a rounding error in terms of government spending, but this is horrible optics right now. Democrats have to start moving better. Doing all this dumb shyt right before mid terms 
Lol no scamming. I run 2 nonprofits broski, this is what I do. Not trying to let cacs get all that money themselves.
It’s like that in all states. You can appoint whoever you want to the board. You usually only 3 people. They aren’t paid. It’s a volunteer appointment. Most people on board are just figure heads for the Executive Director (usually the founder). Example being, an old employer had his daughter, his cousin and his homie listed as his board. They we’re just names on paperwork. Sent out an agenda every three months in an email with a zoom link for the board minutes.
Don’t let that slow you up. It ain’t shyt. I can see how it may seem intimidating from the outside. But it’s not.

Michigan State grad, registered nurse, best friends with Magic Johnson in College (already posted here) very popular back in the days. Started fukking with Maserati Rick (my big bro pops) and started smoking that shyt, lost nursing license, moved to West Palm Beach/Miami and became a full blown crackhead in 1990, I was 4. Got pregnant with my lil sister in 2000 and got clean. We grew up poor as fukk raised by my auntie, the sweetest person in the whole world, no bullshyt. Mom moved up here while pregnant and got clean, also got her nursing license back and literally took care of the whole house, auntie included. Mama now owns a house worth 250,000 on 13 Mile and Hoover.
My og is personal motivation and I know my daughter will feel the same once she is old enough to understand how far her grandma came.
I look at my mama out here still hanging with famous people (Tommy from Power, Tommy Hearns, ect) and looking like a million bucks, she used to be a stone cold crackhead, looking awful. If my mom's can come back from that, anything is possible...........................
