We've all seen some people eat tasers like nothing. If someone was stabbing your daughter would you want the threat to be stopped or take the chance she might get 1 or 2 more stabs at your daughter that can be fatal?

I think most if not everyone agrees the force was too much. He shouldn’t be a cop, especially one with a gun.

The issue is the law and the training is on the side of the officer. A person’s life was in imminent danger and he acted within the law to neutralize the threat. He didn’t know how old she was, if that was her house, etc. He clearly should have assessed the situation better.

Just as much of an issue are the dusty adults who actively participated and encouraged the fight. I think their reaction is also telling. None of them really freaked out after the poor girl was shot. They didn’t even spaz on the cop like that.

Also there were other cops there, if you watch the clip you can see them getting out of vehicles slow as fukk. No indication of urgency from any of them and then once it popped off they did what they are programmed to do. We gotta draw the line on training and programming.

Alot of people in here have so much blind rage for the police they ain’t even using logic in the video. Yes the police should have not shot her 4 times that’s crazy or used the taser but prob was caught up in the heat of the moment but if he didn’t act that other little girl in the pink would have been stabbed.

...if someone is trying to stab you with a knife, do you want the person with the gun to shoot once and then wait and see if they are still able to kill you with that knife?

you running at 2 people with a knife. one who was just chilling holding a dog by a car nowhere near you attempting to stab them. thats not self defense. the first girl that got knocked down possibly can be seen as self defense but the girl in the pink? no. she was nowhere near the action and was holding a dog when the cop showed up. thats not self defense.

I didn't know the girl in pink was holding the dog. I was wondering where he came from. The dog looking at it like "how I wound up in the middle of this?". The girl in pink was probably fighting with the deceased before the cops showed up. What a messed up situation all around.
