No...normally its one share. When you buy it you wait for the reverse split and then see the 1 stock.

The price multiplies by 15, not the number of shares. The number of shares gets divided by 15, but if that leaves you with less than one share, your fractional share gets rounded back up to one. That is how this whole thing works.
Here's how I understand it.
Multiple accounts/brokerages allow you to spend as little as possible while getting the price gain from the round-up of your fractional share into 1 whole share. Let's say there's a 12 to 1 reverse split with round-up. If you buy 9 shares on one brokerage/account, it's still just rounding you up to 1 share just like someone else who has only 1 share. The only difference is that you spent more money than you needed to, sending your cost basis up. If you have 1 share on multiple accounts/brokerages, you spend less to get to the post-split 1 share price gain that the round up provides.

The brokers put the stocks back in to your account at different times. Some do it immediately, and some can take days.
