Playing through the game for the first, I didn't realize I'd actually need the masterball for a reason...Wasted that ish just messing around and had to trade up to get that 151 status.

I played this ish on the old school, fat grey gameboy too...The back piece where the batteries go had to be taped on and I spent more time trying to get the perfect lighting to play than I did actually reading dialogue...Fruck what you heard...batteries, no back light, and no gamefaq's...nostalgia is nice but I would never have the patience in this day and age.

download firered omega with a visualboy advance emulator it has all the 1st 300 something monsters but its a remake of the original red version with a gameboy advance graphics I have it on my phone, you get all the starters as gifts from ppl and rare ones... on top of that the challenge is crazy cuz every gym leader has 6 pokemon inspired from the show (brock got a vulpix, misty got a psyduck) and they use potions like a mufukka
