- E. Tennessee state -12.5 looks like a solid bet. Dominating the whole conference and VMI shoots half of their shots from 3. E.Tenn runs their opponents off the three pt line. Furthermore, E.Tenn possesses a HUGE size advantage and should be able to handle them inside on D and bully them on offense. Furman, tied for first in the conference is the only team to handle E. Tenn on the road. 3/4 road wins in conference were 13 or more points. That being said VMI has played teams pretty close at home...and actually lost by only 7 @ E. Tenn. Hmm...those facts might scare you until you see:
