I'm not a fan of making coaches go one and done. But what this speaks to is McDaniel not being the Dolphins first choice from the get-go. Stephen Ross might be trying to go after Sean Payton and Tom Brady.

I think if you hire a rookie HC, you cannot then be shocked when he makes rookie mistakes so I think McDaniel should at least get next year if not two more years.

That being said, if you hear from Payton that he wants the gig and Brady is willing to come down to Miami, all bets are off.

I completely disagree. I think Brady’s one of those dudes that’s gonna go out on his shield, he’s gonna need to have a catastrophic injury to not play anymore.
