I hate how a lot of people on here and in life make investing sound easy. I'm sitting on a nice pile of liquid capital. And I have absolute no idea what to do. I'm a very skeptical and I research a lot of investing scams and know many losers in the investment game. I hardly know any winners. Leading me to believe there are more losers then winners that are investing. I've worked hard to save this money and don't want to lose it. I'm seriously thinking about starting my own business, I know that that's a risk own. As a Black man in his 30s, I don't think it's smart to depend on a CAC to employ me until I reach retirement age. I want to have a family, but I need to have some consistent residual income, which a "good job" doesn't include in my opinion.
Please don't come in here with optimistic ideals with no supporting facts. I don't want to hear about 401k, Am Way, 5Linx and all those other scams.
