Whatever the reason it was it was not smart. With the amount of traffic this site gets google spiders our going to be crawling this site non stop bring in search engine traffic.

These potential new vistors won't join with out seeing what the community is about.

The conversion rate for organic sign up is going to drop terribly.

lemme ask your opinion...if someone was to start a new niche forum site how can they secure membership if the site is new...cuase there would be no content...
