The Quran hasn't been tampered with - it's been in its original text from the time of Muhammad. So it's the most authentic source of knowledge for Muslims. And we also believe in the Book of Psalms as an authentic book - it's actually mentioned in the Quran.

The Sunnah are Muhammad's actions as noted by his companions. They are the 2nd most authentic source.

The Ahadith are Muhammad's sayings as noted by his companions. They are the 3rd most authentic source because someone could have heard/ interpreted the original sayings in the wrong way.

If any Ahadith contradict what is in the Quran, the teaching in the Quran obviously supersedes because the original text has not been open to "tampering."

Now I'm still waiting - where in the Quran does it say Muhammad had a 6 or 9 year old wife? Like you claimed above?
