That's Why I keep stressing that he's late all after the fact.

Def Poetry Jam wasn't being broadcast, worldwide, on the radio/MTV/Video Music Box/etc. and there wasn't nearly as much usage of those terms back then, either. He's not complaining that they are used, but that they are used to the point they're corny, show a lack of creativity/vocabulary, and only appeal to those for whom lyrics don't matter.

You can keep stressing that, in your opinion, it's after the fact, but that isn't necessarily the case. Hip-hop has become a victim of it's own success.​

My last response. Yes he said it in the OP in 2024. There is no evidence of him saying it 30 years ago. There is no "assuming" on my end because you cant post evidence that he did. You saying he "might" have isn't evidence, that's you yourself "assuming" with no evidence.
