rapper don't realize they are holding themselves back commercially using that language. because of a lot of people feel this way.
Its like how movie studios like to make movies rated pg 13 in order to reach the widest audience.
they just need to invest money into the clean version of all their hits so they can reach people like this too.
Cause nobody wants to hear a bunch of edits or bleeps either.

Yup. And to keep to 1000 these labels are on some real :mjpls: shǐt by not calling hate speech what it is and making sure their artists don’t use that type of language on records they release. They’d never let a Joo talk spicy on a record but of course it’s cool when it’s time to make a few bucks off of black people.

The guy who always goes platinum and always sells out arena tours is holding himself back commercially by saying the n-word? Come on.

Oh you wanna battle.

going back to 1999.

Snoop had two popular singles and videos. One called bytch Please and another called Down 4 My nikkaz

Trick Daddy had a popular song that went "You don't know Nann nikka."

And I can keep going.
That doesn't invalidate anything I said. We can go further back and you'll find the amount of artists using those terms get less and less.
But aside from that I agree, it's been an issue for 30 plus years but Malcolm is saying this in 2024. He wasn't known for having a gripe with hip hop 25 years ago.
Just because he wasn't vocal doesn't mean he didn't have a gripe about it back then.
Malcolm went on Def Poetry Jam and did a corny poem with sexual innuendos. He didnt boycott Def Jam which was promoting Jay Z and DMX, he went to the same machine and helped it. The same Def Jam that had Def Comedy Jam which had the N word the B word the F word and every curse word imaginable which contributed to 90s urban culture and it's over the top usage of all the things Malcolm was complaining about. That's Why I keep stressing that he's late all after the fact.
Def Poetry Jam wasn't being broadcast, worldwide, on the radio/MTV/Video Music Box/etc. and there wasn't nearly as much usage of those terms back then, either. He's not complaining that they are used, but that they are used to the point they're corny, show a lack of creativity/vocabulary, and only appeal to those for whom lyrics don't matter.

You can keep stressing that, in your opinion, it's after the fact, but that isn't necessarily the case. Hip-hop has become a victim of it's own success.

It is after the fact. Again he was never known publicly to have a gripe with the negative effects of Hip hop. You have yet to post anything from Malcolm that would confirm that he did. Until you do what I said still stands. Mind you this is the same man that djd a whole show for years with the vulgar filthy mouthed comedian Eddie Griffin. The same Eddie Griffin who did a whole joke about eating ass and tasting corn while his mom made the :scusthov: face in the audience in the stand up special Dysfunctional Family. The same stand up special were Eddies uncle pulled out the photo album filled with p*ssys of women he fukked and they showed the photo album on camera. You really gonna go "but but but Malcolm has a problem with the B word and the N word"while at the same time he's affiliated with one of the filthiest comics in the game during that time?

He said it in the OP, publicly, himself.

He said, himself, he has a problem with them and working with Eddie. The problem you're having is that you're assuming he didn't 30+ years ago while I'm saying he might have and just wasn't vocal about it until now.

My last response. Yes he said it in the OP in 2024. There is no evidence of him saying it 30 years ago. There is no "assuming" on my end because you cant post evidence that he did. You saying he "might" have isn't evidence, that's you yourself "assuming" with no evidence.

Lets look at the facts:

1)There is no evidence of Malcolm publicly having a gripe with Hip Hop 30 years ago. He's only saying something now.

2)Malcolm was affiliated with the filthy comic Eddie Griffin for years which contradicts him having a gripe with the moral bankruptcy in todays urban culture, FACTS

3) Malcolm was affiliated with the whore Heather Hunter. This was very well known and acknowledged in this thread. Heather Hunter had 3 somes with white men on camera.

On the hook of this Nore song Heather goes "We dont wanna fk with nikkaz with small diks, we just wanna fk with nikkaz with big dix"

Yet Malcolm was cool with Heather the whore promoting being a freak and saying the N word on a song. The hypocrisy is too big to ignore. But but but he didn't like Eddie who he did a show for 4 years with" Well Malcolm never denounced Heather.

I'm not assuming. I'm going by what he, himself, stated. Meanwhile, your entire argument = 'He didn't have a problem 30+ years ago because he didn't say anything.'

See the difference?
Lets look at the facts:

1)There is no evidence of Malcolm publicly having a gripe with Hip Hop 30 years ago. He's only saying something now.
Which doesn't prove he didn't have an issue, then.
2)Malcolm was affiliated with the filthy comic Eddie Griffin for years which contradicts him having a gripe with the
Which doesn't prove he didn't have issues with him, then, and was proven to be the case later when asked about it.
3) Malcolm was affiliated with the whore Heather Hunter. This was very well known and acknowledged in this thread.
Which doesn't mean he didn't have issues with the egregious use of those terms. Key term, egregious.
Yet Malcolm was cool with Heather the whore promoting being a freak and saying the N word on a song.
Which doesn't prove he didn't have a problem with it's usage since it wasn't as egregious then as now.
The hypocrisy is too big to ignore. But but but he didn't like Eddie who he did a show for 4 years with" Well Malcolm never denounced Heather.
😂 That isn't hypocrisy. Tastes change as you age. Why do you expect someone in their 50's to have the same tastes as they had in their teens/20's? MJW not denouncing HH doesn't mean anything. Dude ain't running for office. Ask Trump about that.

nikka, not everything is meant for kids and families / not everyone wants their music stifled because of some little demons.

nikkas really do just say anything. This nikka Drake raps about all types of debauchery and is in the top 10 most streamed artist.
Hip Hop without extremely lewd language..

I don't want it.

It's like clean stand up comedy. Which is also azz.

Hardcore rap is in the category of horror movies, evening news, or true crime.

There's some horrible shyt in there, but it's the same content as the evening news. The news reports on all the worst happenings. Gangsta rap is that same vibe.

I watch John Wick, I play first person shooters, and I bump Geto Boys.

If there's fun entertainment that doesn't contain violence and corruption.. have fun with it. I guarantee Theo plays GTA, watches Mafia movies, or some form of violent entertainment.

nikkas just don’t understand not everything is meant for everyone. Thats what Taylor swift is for. Let the rest of us have our shyt.
