And yet small time one hit wonders continue to have their single records stay relevant over the years by newer and newer generations.
Only eminem record you'll hear 20 years from now is "Lose yourself" after all those successful albums. 1 classic song. It also happens to be one of his only records with no profanity hmm coincidence? :jbhmm:
This is more fictional babble about what you deem to be relevant..... The FACTS are the highest selling albums are from Drake and Eminem you can lie make up nonsense dance around it whatever people like yourself have to do to avoid the FACTS but it only showcases why you and the fraud you're in here glazing aren't qualified intellectually or factually to engage in these kinds of discussions because all you have is babbling and fake moral grandstaning..it's that simple

Cole became a flip flopper

He wanted to be Nas starting out and then the south starting taking off and then he wanted to jump back down on that shyt and then he wanted to start using nikka and bytch more even though he was already moving albums and had a following..

:manny:
He probably got tired of seeing his name and “audio NyQuil” in the same sentence on every social media platform and podcast…. So he 1993’d himself a little bit.

rapper don't realize they are holding themselves back commercially using that language. because of a lot of people feel this way.
Its like how movie studios like to make movies rated pg 13 in order to reach the widest audience.
they just need to invest money into the clean version of all their hits so they can reach people like this too.
Cause nobody wants to hear a bunch of edits or bleeps either.
Artists need to go back to having official clean version of their songs like they used to wheee words were completely changed. Always thought Shake It Fast, Back That Thang Up, and Get Your Roll On were better as clean versions than album versions. I know it’s a different era but they need to start doing that again. But in the current era, they barely even drop singles for album rollouts. They just drop albums out of nowhere and whatever song has the most streams initially is what they choose as the single.

Yep, plus would make it a lot easier for your music to be used in movies/tv, and in public at live sporting events and other venues etc. I think even Lupe for a few years now, has been cursing way more in his music than he used to. I respect Meth because he's chilled on that, and peeps didn't even notice because his pen still so sharp.

Dancehall reggae is also suffering, because the current music is far too vulgar.

At one time, folks didnt even curse and still made classic music
What’s funny is that Coolio’s biggest hit “Gangsta’s Paradise” was allowed to use the Pastime Paradise sample on one condition: Stevie said no profanities can be used on the song.

And look at how that song helped him crossover! Even won him a Grammy. I’m not saying it wouldn’t have been a hit if he had cursing in it, but it certainly made it easier to get played on radio without censoring the lyrics.

Treach is one of the greatest MCs because he can still make the illest rhymes and he rarely curses.

You can make hard hitting music without having to use obscenities. It’s just lazy at this point if you choose not to.

Pac used to re-record clean songs of his singles.
