Malcolm X never advocated not voting in that speech.
It's from the Ballot vs. the Bullet speech and he's cautioning against having blind faith and allegiance in the system and politicians. He still says voting is a tool to be used as part of social revolution.
Most smartdumb HL posters have never watched the whole speech or even attempted to process it beyond taking fragments of it with no context.

The thread title is misleading because Malcolm never said black people are dumb for voting. He's saying you're dumb if you think voting is all you need to do for social revolution, or you think the white politicians you are voting for are on your side or looking out for you first.
It's annoying because it's the same dumb motherfukkers like that whiteboy in blackface @CACtain Planet and the rest of the crew who keep posting the same clips, memes, and quotes from that speech in every random thread, not even understanding the main points of the speech.

Maybe I wouldn't have said that if I hadn't seen the same memes and snippets that quote Malcolm out of context in an either ignorant or disingenuous attempt to smear anyone who god forbid votes, or god forbid votes for a democrat in HL for like the past 5 years here.
Malcolm doesn't advocate not voting in that speech. What he says about voting is consistent with the outlook of someone me or @Abogado--I'd say moreso than someone who chooses not to vote at all or someone who reps "#trumpset" on a message board. But smartdumb ADD cats who have never even watched the Ballet vs. Bullet in its entirety try to put words in his mouth and falsely cast him as their champion.

Here's a portion of the speech.
He talks about how by voting 80% Dem black people put JFK in office and had the power to re-elect LBJ. He talked about the Dems had the predidency and both houses of congress but didn't do much on black civil rights and tried to put all the blame on the Dixiecrats.
Now to what he said pertaining to your stupid little meme (that probably came from some racist right wing website you frequent), go to 2:00.
You will see he says "and if you choose to still identify with that party you are not only a chump" but a traitor to your race."
He did NOT say "if you vote for them not only are you a chump but a traitor to your race."
You just exposed yourself, cac. Some alt-right blogger probably made that meme.
