He talks about how by voting 80% Dem black people put JFK in office and had the power to re-elect LBJ. He talked about the Dems had the predidency and both houses of congress but didn't do much on black civil rights and tried to put all the blame on the Dixiecrats.

Now to what he said pertaining to your stupid little meme (that probably came from some racist right wing website you frequent), go to 2:00.

You will see he says "and if you choose to still identify with that party you are not only a chump" but a traitor to your race."

He did NOT say "if you vote for them not only are you a chump but a traitor to your race."

Malcolm doesn't advocate not voting in that speech. What he says about voting is consistent with the outlook of someone me or @Abogado--definitely moreso than someone who chooses not to vote at all or someone who reps "#trumpset" on a message board. But smartdumb ADD cats who have never even watched the Ballet vs. Bullet in its entirety try to put words in his mouth and falsely cast him as their champion.

It's the assumption that everyone in this thread "except for the poster above me" is being disingenuous taking Malcolm's words out of context to smear the dems that prompted my response...I understand why you did it but I don't appreciate being lumped in with those posters because I'm against voting for the proud Goldwater whore...

I never advocated for voting for the orange CAC or abstaining (although I did consider abstaining)...I'm on record here stating if you're black you owe it to our people before you like Malcolm, that shed blood and died so we have that right to vote...That doesn't mean you have to vote for one of the two party candidates because the media tells you there is a lesser evil...That's all establishment fear mongering, there is no lesser evil for us in this election and a third party vote is against the establishment, not a vote for Trump...15% of the vote going third party threatens the establishment and will send a very loud message to all Dems and Rethugs on capital hill...Baby boomers who treat politics like sports teams won't live forever...
