I dont get it. What is the value in this? Seems like she is just worrying about what others think? People have privilege and they use it. Her parents grinded so she could fly. Shouldn't she just be grateful she was born into a family she could have all the opportunities with? If she feels guilty about it then she can focus on using her privilege for philanthropic efforts and giving back to others with less opportunities. Removing the last name your father gave you (which will likely be gone anyways once she gets married) for this reason seems ludicrous
