He very obviously was raised by his dad to see himself as an African Indian as well, on account of their background in Uganda.

This is without even touching on the fact that the NYT sourced this from a race scientist, whose claim to fame is claiming that black people and Africans are the lowest IQ people in the world. Anything to stop an Israel critic from getting a prominent political position.
