A lot of cats that age particular into this type of stuff feel like "they've lived life" already and catching a bug isn't the end of the world since they only got 20-30 years left.

The bacteria’s that causes most of the STDs are becoming resistant to Antibiotics. It’s going to be difficult to treat the patients and people could die.
Asia in general has this problem due to over prescription. India even has super bacteria forming due to antibiotic runoff into rivers. The world ender is forming in the ganges right now

I’ll make it simple because that conference was hella long, but over the years medical professionals have been worried about bacteria becoming resistant due to the overuse of the antibiotics like penicillin and etc. We had a good amount of patients that would take their antibiotics but never finish them, it’s not only STDs but other bacterial diseases as well.

Then those patients go have reckless sex and then it spreads, kinda like how our immune system learns to adapt and survive certain viruses, so does the bacteria. Leading to them being able to resistant any antibiotics we’re administering to an infected patient.

@Pseudonym You’re also a nurse, have you been given any education on super bugs or antibiotic resistant bacteria

Yes these are the most dangerous because at that point, not much can be done other than try to overwhelm the system with numerous antibiotics. A common , popular one is MRSA.

Also, if you’re treated for the same std with same drugs the efficacy goes down the more it’s used
