My brother did this about 15 year's ago. He took the dog 20 miles out into the country and dumped the dog.

People keep mentioning the animal shelter when the majority of them are already overcrowded as it is and they are literally begging people to help adopt dogs. It being on camera is the best thing that happened though as someone is definitely going to go out there and him.
