I'm not a big pet guy at all but dude a scumbag for this. My family has owned 2 dogs and I couldn’t imagine abandoning for whatever reason. Shelters, selling the dog, giving to someone all better options than just leaving them in the wild.

That dog definitely gonna need to see a pet psychologist after that traumatic event. Gonna be hard for him to overcome his abandoment issues. I'm sure that took away at least 21 (in dog years) off his life.

We don't all think of animals the same way, it's fine you want to be sensitive but pushing that on other people is a step too far. It has nothing to do with being conservative.

I understand not wanting it in your home, but he could have dropped it at the SPCA or Humane Society. This is cruel.

Shelters are full. I've looked at shelters in 3 states. I want to give mine to a good place. Or atleast have a good place in mind when I'm fed up. They are full. If the dog ain't a pure breed or high dollar dog, they'll put it down.
Mine is a intact wiemaraner. So she can have puppies. The dog is worth $2500, each pup is worth $2000.
Only reason I got the dog was because a client died and we didn't want it to go to a shelter and get abused. She's a great dog. But there's atleast one day a month, I'm checking shelters to see where I can drop her ass off. I won't do it though. Same reason I won't breed her and sell her pups. I might breed her but I'm not owning a dog to see how much money I can make. Everytime I show my dog and tell people she's fertile they're like
