suge was thinkin wit his dikk ...
This is never not a true statement and probably the 2nd biggest contributing factor to Death Rows demise
why u manage mary u not put a album out
Her, Jodeci etc were all still contractually obligated to their record labels, long term you probably would have seen releases like that had Suge remained free and been able to bully artists free from their labels
1st u get the power
then u get that money
then u get that p*ssy..
dude was a dummy
Definitely made a lot of dumb choices
he had all them producers and the wack room producers

smh
Theres a lot of partially and fully completed R&B projects in the vault, the intentions were there but once Suge was locked up everything changed
helll eazy let yella prduce some albums dre was tangled
Dre needs to take more of the blame because had he been more concerned with music and not succn-dicc-n-eatin-puzzy more projects would have gotten completed

Might be an unpopular opinion, but Dre on Death Row wasn't a great R&B Producer. Compare his work to what DJ Quik did for Danny Boy and Jewell, and it's night and day.
I'm drawing a blank on what r&b records he even produced besides Harvest For The World while on Death Row?

Something in My Heart is still a 90s classic. Gen Z be singing the shyt out this song. Honestly, I feel like someone like Master P or even Baby would’ve gotten way more out of Death Row than Suge did.

P would’ve sent V90 or some other swamp goon to deal with Orlando Anderson instead of joining Pac in the crash out. But kinda like how Jim was with Byrdgang, Suge’s priorities were to being a mafioso styled super blood instead of a successful businessman. Keeping a more focused environment might’ve had Dre producing more music instead of abusing women n shyt. Leadership is invaluable in those type of endeavors.

He really did, Pac wouldn’t have died like that if that was P instead of Suge. No Limit Pac would’ve been some next level shyt cuz that label was arguably even more street than Death Row was. And damn near that whole camp looked up to Pac.
