I felt the vid was overdramatic to say the least...they don't got TV's in prison? They don't got magazines? They don't got new inmates coming in on a regular basis talking about all the new stuff on the street?

A more interesting video would be a Coma patient experiencing the world after waking up for the first time in years...

Decatur where its greater
Its crazy how you see people walking down the street and dont realize the interesting story and perspective they got.:wow:
I was legit thinking about this earlier as I was stopped at a light. White dude crossed the road and for some reason I was just thinking how it would be to be able to view the world from someone else eyes. Like on some being John Malkovich type stuff.

44 years surrounded by nothing but men.:mjcry: I cannot wrap my brain around such a concept.

He's a cute old man. He looks at the world with the innocence of a child. That last scene made me a lil jealous because he's more flexible than me. I'm still trying to perfect my virasana.

I'd introduce him to fam and try to feed him.

This^ is exactly what I was thinking. Seems a bit exaggerated, to say the least. :rudy:

It would be so much more believable had he spent the entire 44 years in solitary confinement or some sh!t, maybe?

But it's hard to believe that he was reallly all that ignorant of so many changes going on in the outside world, while serving time in a fed/state penitentiary(a lot of tv, newspaper, magazine access in those), amongst the constant influx of new inmates who are like real-life, real-time twitter updates to the outside world when they first come in. :comeon:

I'm also really realising just how awful it must be for him.
He's missed out on his entire youth, and middle age. No close camaraderie with friends, no weddings, no funerals, no raising children, no getting a job and reaping the benefits of a middle class life style, no "nights out" with friends, barhopping or going to the club, no dancing to music, no sex, girlfriends, no close relationships, no chance at a higher education, no video games, no internet... Each generation of convicts must have seemed worlds away from him. I don't think I could do it, I would't even want to live after having 44 years of my life ripped away from me.

Seeing it on television and reading about it in magazines has to be dramatically different from experiencing it in person.

Different, yes. That goes without saying.
Acting like he just got dropped off here from being on Mars for the past 44 years? Unrealistic. My fam in the pen be knowing more of the latest sh!t than I do.
