What's your argument?

There are not that many, but there is a valid reason.

Harlem
It's like that in every major city i've noticed, usually they are positioned around the perimeter as you enter the city, not right in the middle.

Damn there's 47. That's more than people expected but still not that many on an island of a million and a half people...

It's less, map is from 2009.
I know for a fact in lower Manhattan that 37, 38, 39, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47 all no longer exist. :pachaha:

2017 report showing 31, it's probably even less now. :pachaha:

Damn, I never thought about it when I lived there but what happens when you run out of gas? What happens when you need gas to fill up a generator?

Now that I think about it, Chicago has only one in the loop. :mjlol:

Add maybe one or two in the downtown neighborhoods outside of the loop.

If you run out of gas, then you can call 311 for the yellow city trucks and they will either come and fill you up or tow your car to the nearest gas station.

There used to be one on 10th and the 40's. Last time I checked a few years ago it was closed.

There's 1 or 2 on the east side right off the Triboro on 125th.

I never thought about where people who live in Manhattan get their gas.

Is #40 still open? That was my go to spot when I lived in PCV and Gramercy.
