teams dream of making the final four. The thing about Donovan is he not lIke Calipari with all the flash and drake cosigns and all that. I think he truly tries to do things the right way. He'll he's taking up roster spots with a guy with one arm and gave a spot to the equipment manager or some shyt who watched practice from the rafters every day. Not gonna make it to the championship evdry year doin that and the fact he made so many elite eights/final fours/ championships is impressive so

Exactly. People don't realize it, but after getting jipped by Kwame Brown, James White not panning out, Donnell Harvey and Mike Miller leaving early (not to mention the ALLLLLLL the transfers that happened around the early-mid 2000's), he basically stop going for the top 10 players in the country and is like Tom Izzo, recruits 4 year type players which, like Izzo, every now and then his team will lose a bunch of top talent and have a year or two dip before being back to where they typically are.

nah, he's been going after 2 and dones a lot over the years. It's just he's getting out recruited. Only guy he managed to land was Bradley beal. Make no mistake though, he still goes after them. UK is just gobbling up all the recruits. I agree though that he doesn't make them a main priority.
